NEWARK, NJ — Sophomore Ari Fulton and freshman David Bolden receive America East honors on Monday morning.
The sophomore guard from Fayetteville, North Carolina had career highs of 22 points and 14 rebounds in NJIT’s win over Loyola MD on Tuesday including his buzzer-beating jumper to lift the Highlanders to a 66-64 win. Fulton followed up his first double-double performance of the season with another one against FDU where he recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The freshman guard from Milwaukee, Wisconsin coming off conference rookie of the week honors, scored a career-high 23 points and added eight assists and four rebounds in the Highlanders win over FDU on Saturday.
In a 2-0 week for the Highlanders, Fulton averaged a double-double of 17.0 points with 12.0 rebounds and Bolden averaged 15.0 points with 6.0 assists.
This is Fulton’s first career #AEHoops Player of the Week honor and this is Bolden’s second-straight #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor.
