On Sunday night, the Atlanta Hawks will host the Portland Trail Blazers at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
The Hawks are coming off a 126-96 victory over the Washington Wizards (also at home).
All-Star forward Jalen Johnson missed that game (and only played six minutes in the game prior) due to injury.

Before Sunday’s game, the Hawks officially announced that Johnson will be listed as questionable.
Brad Rowland of Locked On Hawks wrote: “Hawks injury report for Sunday against Portland…. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (left foot sprain) is questionable. Jalen Johnson (left hip flexor irritation) is questionable.”

Johnson is in the middle of an incredible season for the Hawks.
The former Duke star is averaging 23.0 points, 10.6 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field and 34.3% from three-point range in 54 games.
He is in his fifth NBA season (all with the Hawks).
The Lead wrote (on February 3): “Jalen Johnson over his last 7 games: – 25.6 PPG – 13.1 RPG – 8.1 APG – 5-2 record He’s the first player since Oscar Robertson (1963) to average 25/13/8 over a 7+ game span before age 25 🤯”

The Hawks will enter the night as the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-31 record in 61 games.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have won six out of their last ten).
Following the Trail Blazers, the Hawks will play their next game on Wednesday night when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.
Last season, Johnson and the Hawks lost to the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat in the play-in tournament.
NBA.com/Stats wrote (on December 12): “Jalen Johnson tonight: 19 PTS | 11 REB | 12 AST He now has three straight triple-doubles, the longest streak in Hawks franchise history… And five on the season, the most in Hawks franchise history 🔥”
