College football is starting and it pays to have famous alumni, just ask the Cincinnati Bearcats. The Bearcats will open their college football season by hosting the Nebraska Cornhuskers, but they won’t be hosting them in Ohio. The game will take place at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. That’s the home of (in)famous Cincinnati alum, NFL star and Taylor Swift‘s beau Travis Kelce.
Nebraska is looking to improve on a 3-6 season last year in the Big Ten, while Cincinnati was also 3-6 in the Big 12. Nebraska is entering only their third year under head coach Matt Rhule, while Cincinnati is expecting improvement—at least qualifying for a bowl game this season. The two will face off to start the season and test the beginning of a hopeful season.
