It’s took a while but Mike Trout hit his 400th career home run on September 20, becoming the 59th player in MLB history to achieve the milestone. To celebrate, the MLB The Show 25 team released a 99 OVR Milestone Mike Trout on September 22, as part of a grindable program in Diamond Dynasty. Here’s a look at the program, plus the 99 OVR Trout.

Here’s a look at the reward path for the MLB The Show 25 Trout Milestone Program:
- 5 Points: 4,000 XP
- 10 Points: 95 OVR Rookie Mike Trout
- 15 Points: 4,000 XP
- 20 Points: MLB The Show 25 pack
- 25 Points: 4,000 XP
- 30 Points: 400 Stubs
- 35 Points: MLB The Show 25 pack
- 40 Points: 4,000 XP
- 45 Points: MLB The Show 25 pack
- 50 Points: 99 OVR Milestone Mike Trout and 4,000 XP
This program looks very similar to the Milestone Alonso, Kershaw, & Verlander programs that’ve been launched earlier this year. It includes MLB The Show 25 packs, plus XP bonuses that match Trout’s milestone.

There’s also a 95 OVR Rookie Trout, which will be needed for the Missions.
How to make progress
Here are the tasks for the Milestone Trout Program:
- Complete 10 Moments (30 pts. – 3 pts. each)
- 95 OVR Trout Missions:
- Tally one home run with 95 OVR Trout (5 pts.)
- Tally 10 total bases with 95 OVR Trout (5 pts.)
- Tally 200 PXP with 95 OVR Trout (5 pts.)
- Tally 400 PXP with 95 OVR Trout (5 pts.)
- Stat Missions:
- Tally 10 home runs with primary outfielders (LF, CF, RF) (10 pts.)
- Tally 40 total bases with Angels players (10 pts.)
- Tally 1,000 PXP with any players (10 pts.)
For this program, Moments can be completely avoided. All of them, though, are on Veteran difficulty. Seven of the ten require a home run to be hit to complete.
Or, one can do a mix of Moments and Missions. It should be noted that through the end of September, SDS is running a 5x PXP promotion for home runs hit through September 30 at 3 PM ET.
