With just 10 games remaining and a 6.5-game lead on the teams behind them, the Lynx are closing in on an opportunity to start getting rest while they focus on their run to the WNBA Championship. They’ll certainly want to make a statement against the Dream, one of the teams chasing them, especially after an 85-75 loss to the Liberty on Tuesday night. Courtney Williams was the only starter in double digits (17 points) in an uncharacteristically flat performance.

The Dream have gone 9-3 over their last 12 games, with each loss being by just two points, including Tuesday night’s 74-72 loss to the Las Vegas Aces. While the Dream seemed in control, leading by four heading into the fourth quarter, they fell apart offensively, managing just 11 points in the final frame. Rhyne Howard led the team with 19 points and six assists, with Brittney Griner scoring 16 to go with eight rebounds, two steals, and two blocks off the bench.

This will be the third and final meeting between the Lynx and Dream during the regular season, with the teams splitting the first two games.
