Regal and New York-based Imax (NYSE: IMAX) have expanded their partnership with an agreement for four new locations in the U.S., including at Regal Edwards Greenway Grand Palace at 3839 Weslayan St.
The Greenway Plaza cinema will receive an “IMAX with Laser” theater, which utilizes an upgraded 4K laser projection system but not a full-fledged 70mm film projector. Regal already has two Imax theaters in the Houston area: Regal Edwards Houston Marq’E at 7600 Katy Freeway and Regal Lone Star at 24720 Tomball Parkway in Tomball.
