INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Latino Expo is set to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by offering a wide range of services and entertainment, expanding its reach through a new virtual experience.
Since its inception in 2012, the Expo has provided valuable resources to the Latino community, including consular services, health screenings, education and job fairs, and various entertainment options. This year, the event is partnering with WISH-TV to offer a virtual experience, aiming to reach over 1.9 million people throughout Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Expo typically attracts around 3,000 attendees to its physical event, but the new virtual format is expected to significantly increase its impact.
Community partnerships are crucial to the success of the Expo. These collaborations help amplify the Expo’s message and reach diverse demographics. The event also focuses on bridging gaps between employers and potential employees, offering leadership development opportunities through programs like the Access Program.
With its comprehensive offerings and expanded virtual presence, the Indiana Latino Expo continues to be a vital resource for the Latino community in Indiana, fostering connections and opportunities for a better life.
