The Rice Village location will offer the same signature seafood dishes as its River Oaks and Memorial locations, Culinary Khancepts said.
HOUSTON — Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette, a seafood restaurant owned and operated by Houston-based Culinary Khancepts, is preparing to open a third location, this time in the Rice Village area.
The new restaurant is expected to open this fall in the former Gratify space at 5212 Morningside Drive, Star Cinema Grill parent company Culinary Khancepts said Aug. 5.
Gratify opened in June 2021 but quietly closed last year. The space is on the ground floor of the Hanover Rice Village apartment complex.
Liberty Kitchen is known for offering a menu full of Gulf Coast-inspired entrees, fresh seafood and craft cocktails.
The new location will offer the same signature dishes as its River Oaks and Memorial locations, Culinary Khancepts said. The company acquired those locations in 2020 and refreshed the concept.
“We’ve always loved the energy of Rice Village,” Omar Khan, CEO of Culinary Khancepts, said in a press release.
