Lufthansa Is Selling Lie-Flat Business Class To Europe For $1,062 Roundtrip—But It Won’t Last the Day
Lufthansa has business class tickets starting at $1,062 roundtrip, which is about 75% off usual prices. This deal will not be around for long – probably not even hours.
This is available from Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago-O’Hare, Miami, and Philadelphia to numerous places you may wish to go in Europe such as Copenhagen, Milan, Oslo, Rome, Stockholm, Brussels and Amsterdam. (You can also fly into one city and back from another.) Philadelphia transatlantic flights are operated by lower-cost subsidiary Discover Airlines.
Roughly speaking this seems to be available for travel starting in July and running through February, according to Alberto Rivera who reports on an alert sent out by Thrifty Traveler about the deal.
Just head to Google Flights and plug in your preferred cities and dates.
If you end of positioning for this deal, you may wish to cross the Atlantic on the Chicago – Munich flight operated by an Airbus A350 for Lufthansa’s Allegris business class.
I’d note that this sale is so good Lufthansa may regret offering it – and that if seller’s remorse kicks in they might choose not to honor the tickets. And while DOT rules are that an airline cancelling booked tickets claiming mistake has to cover any costs passengers have incurred in reliance on the booking, it’s not yet clear what position on enforcement of this the new administration will take. So I’d recommend waiting a bit before making non-changeable and costly plans predicated on traveling with these flights.
