PHOENIX, AZ (AZFamily) — One man has died, and another is hospitalized after a shooting in north Phoenix early Friday afternoon.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. in the area of 19th Avenue and Bell Road. When police arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. Both were transported to the hospital, where one died a short time later.
The second man remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
Video from the AZFamily news chopper showed multiple police officers outside a strip mall on the northwest corner of the intersection. The parking lot was taped off, and multiple evidence markers were on the ground.
Phoenix police say detectives are responding. No suspect information has been released.
