Manny Pacquiao is already talking about having two or three more fights left in him.
That maybe true, but in the here and now, is he in good enough shape to beat a world champion?
Manny’s going to get his shot against San Antonio’s very own WBC Welterweight Champion Mario Barrios coming up in just a few short weeks.
Mario’s almost a 4 to 1 odds on favorite to beat the 46-year old who possesses one of boxing’s most prolific resumes.
Right now, Mario’s treating his opponent, a boxing hall of famer, with the utmost respect.
Come fight night, though, he’s going to treat Manny as if he’s the guy that’s trying to steal something from him.
Pacquiao hasn’t fought a sanctioned boxing event in 4 years and the only reason why this is a title fight is because the WBC is making a special exception for Pacquiao because of his well-earned hall of fame status.
In an interview with Fox San Antonio, Mario talks about the respect he has for Manny but “it’s just business” when he has to fight him in the ring come July 19th in Las Vegas.
Of course, Max Sports noticed Barrios’s fine taste in art too, with a “Misfits” symbol hanging on the wall in the background.
