UNDATED (WKRC) – The Golden Arches fast-food chain has ended a brief partnership with a major company.
Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s have announced the end of their partnership, effective July 2.
The decision comes after both companies evaluated the collaboration’s profitability and sustainability, according to a Krispy Kreme press release.
Krispy Kreme said it plans to focus on expanding its presence through high-volume retail points and international franchise growth.
For McDonald’s, Krispy Kreme represented a small part of its breakfast business. The fast-food giant stated it remains committed to its breakfast strategy, focusing on delivering delicious, affordable and convenient options for its customers.
