The Yucatán International Fair X’Matkuil experienced one of its most intense nights with the arrival of Molotov and their TXXXR 30th Anniversary Tour, a musical explosion that brought together thousands of attendees at the Montejo Entertainment Center.
The band, celebrating three decades in the business, made it clear that their irreverence and power remain undiminished.
From the first chords, the venue vibrated with the energy of Miky Huidobro, Paco Ayala, Randy Ebright, and Jay de la Cueva—a member of Moderato—who took to the stage determined to demonstrate that time has only amplified their rebellious spirit.
Songs like “Gimme the Power,” “Frijolero,” and “Voto Latino” unleashed massive sing-alongs and an electrifying atmosphere that united different generations of fans.
For nearly two hours, Molotov delivered a powerful performance: energetic riffs, driving bass, and a visual spectacle that enveloped the audience in an immersive experience.
The crisp, powerful sound made the most of the acoustics at Centro Montejo, reaffirming its status as one of the most prominent music venues in southeastern Mexico.
The Mérida show is one of the final stops on the tour before the band continues its journey through Mexico and South America, culminating in a concert on January 31, 2026, at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.
An unforgettable night at X’Matkuil confirmed Molotov as an undisputed pillar of Latin rock, with a message that, after 30 years, continues to resonate powerfully.
