After Philadelphia’s season came to an inglorious end (despite claiming that Brian Snitker’s post-NLDS comments were fueling their fire this season. So much for that!), we’re now down to just three Divisional Series. Two of them are in action tonight, as all eyes are on the ALDS where the Royals and the Guardians are fighting for their Postseason lives.
Boy, it would really be something if the Tigers ended up being the last AL Central team standing — and potentially in the ALCS, no less! Nobody could’ve possibly seen this particular team being just one win away from a seven-game Postseason series. Meanwhile in Kansas City, it’s not particularly shocking that the Yankees are just one win away from punching their ticket to another ALCS. However, both Kansas City and Cleveland will be desperate to ensure that their respective series go the distance and as a neutral, I’m rooting for it to happen.
