She brings nearly three decades of fine arts expertise
In this new role, Rappa will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative and tailored solutions to protect clients’ valuables from current threats.
Based in New York, Rappa will collaborate with Marsh McLennan Agency and Marsh teams in the US and London to provide global expertise and solutions to individuals, museums, universities, art galleries, and private collectors.
Rappa joins Marsh McLennan Agency from Aon’s Huntington T. Block Insurance Agency, a fine arts insurance broker, where she was a senior vice president. She has nearly 30 years of experience in the fine arts insurance field, handling large and complex museum, commercial, private, and corporate collection risks.
Bill Jeatran, president of Marsh McLennan Agency, commented on the appointment.
“Anne is an outstanding client advocate whose passion for and understanding of the fine arts market make her the perfect fit to lead this new practice for Marsh McLennan Agency and expand our capabilities and resources in the fine arts space,” Jeatran said.
Elsewhere for MMA
In other recent developments for Marsh McLennan Agency, the firm announced its acquisition of AC Risk Management (ACRM), an independent commercial lines brokerage based in Melville, New York. Established in 2012, it offers property and casualty insurance to businesses, particularly those within the construction sector.
Additionally, the firm has announced plans to acquire top 100 US insurance broker Fisher Brown Bottrell Insurance (FBBI) for almost $316 million as MMA sets up to expand its presence in the Florida panhandle and Mississippi and add to its Alabama reach.
