LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Fourth Street Live! is going to be full of energy on Friday night.
Mixed martial artists take the cage for this year’s Future of Fighting 7. It’s the second year the event has been hosted in Louisville.
Organizers say attendees should be prepared for non-stop action and a unique atmosphere.
One of this year’s competitors trains at Area 502 MMA, where he also works as a kickboxing coach. Ruben Vargas is from Northwest Indiana. He began his martial arts training at a young age, and that discipline has followed him into his adult life.
This event is marketed as the rise of future MMA legends. Many of the fighters are from WAVE Country across the region.
Future of Fighting 7 is Friday, June 6. Doors open around 5:45 p.m., and the first fight begins at 7 p.m.
