The Music Business Association has released a first look into their Music Biz 2025 agenda.
Music Biz is an annual conference hosted by the not-for-profit membership organization. The Music Business Association aims to advance, promote, and invest in the future of music business through providing events, education, and engagement for those involved.
This year’s Music Biz marks the conference’s first time taking place in Atlanta, according to a press release. It will take place May 12-15 at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel.
According to the release, the event is expected to bring over 2,200 global music professionals to the city, offering the chance for conversation and connection with established members in the music world.
“The task of building a comprehensive, four-day program for our Annual Conference becomes harder and harder every year thanks to the innovative and compelling panel ideas contributed by our ever-growing global community — it’s a good problem to have!” said Music Business Association President, Portia Sabin, in the release. “We’re proud of how the agenda for Music Biz 2025 came together, and we can’t wait to welcome both new & returning faces to our event in this year’s new host city.”
Music Biz 2025’s schedule marks the debut of a number of special events.
According to the release, an event called a First Timers Meetup will take place on May 12, offering new attendees the chance to meet The Music Business Association’s staff and Board of Directors and learn more about the conference’s schedule.
May 12 will also see the return of the full-day Music Biz Roadshow event, which is dedicated to helping artists and management teams learn fundamental business practices and how to maximize revenue streams.
May 13 will include a new State of the Industry breakfast and program, with commentary on current global consumption, data trends, and discussions on the present and future with notable music policy makers.
