PASADENA, Texas — A new indoor adventure park concept is coming to the Houston area — one of its first locations in the country.
Massachusetts-based Fun City Entertainment has signed a long-term lease for a 60,000-square-foot anchor space in the Fairmont Parkway Shopping Center in Pasadena, Houston-based real estate firm NewQuest Properties said.
The new concept, called TakeOff Adventure Park, is expected to open late in the first quarter of next year. It will feature a ninja course, foam pit, climbing walls, trampolines, arcade, party rooms and more, NewQuest said.
“With the high concentration of families in the trade area, the market offers an ideal environment for its debut and anticipated success,” NewQuest’s Alyx Penland said in a press release.
Penland and David Meyers represented the landlord, South Florida-based WMC Fund LLC, while Cesar Miranda of KW Commercial Signature Realty brokered the lease for the tenant.
The space is between a Klub Fitness and Goodwill.
