Twelve to Twelve officially opened its doors on Jan. 20 after a brief soft opening, Owner Patricio Penalosa told Community Impact.
It’s located at 1491 S. Main St., adjacent to Pure Country BBQ and Grill and south of the downtown area.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Penalosa said he “fell in love” with Boerne after moving to the area two years ago.
“Eventually, we realized this would be the perfect place for a new spot for people to go,” Penalosa said.
What are the options?
The bar is meant to convey a laid-back, “semi-formal” experience for guests, according to Penalosa.
“This is a place where people come to have a really good cocktail,” he said. “We don’t have bartenders, we have mixologists.”
The mixologists at Twelve to Twelve serve customers a variety of traditional and specialty cocktails, according to Penalosa.
Offerings include espresso martinis and special concoctions like the tequila-based Amortencia or the gin-infused 100 Acre Wood.
One more thing
Additionally, patrons can host private parties and events at the venue. There’s also a complimentary ride service for those needing transportation home from the bar, according to Penalosa.
“Our main focus is taking care of the customers,” Penalosa said.
