Manheim, PA – A day after announcing the November winners of the NCAA Women’s Regional Wrestlers of the Month, the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) is proud to recognize Sara Sterner of North Central College as the National Wrestler of the Month for November.
Sterner delivered many outstanding performances throughout November, achieving an unblemished 11-0 record. Her month was highlighted by six wins over ranked opponents and an impressive nine victories by fall. She claimed titles at both the UW-Stevens Point Open and the Adrian Open.
Among the many highlights of her month were two victories over the #2-ranked wrestler in her weight class, including a decisive win by fall.
