OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball is one of two teams left in the Oxford Regional.
The Rebels (42-20) face Murray State (41-13) on June 1 (7:16 p.m., ESPN+) at Swayze Field in the NCAA tournament. It is an elimination game for Ole Miss.
If the Rebels win, Ole Miss will face the Racers in a win-or-go-home game on June 2.
It is a rematch of the Rebels’ first game in the regional. Murray State won that game 9-6 on May 30. The Rebels pitched No. 2 starter Riley Maddox in that game. Senior Gunnar Dennis will pitch for Ole Miss in the rematch.
The Rebels have been good in elimination games after dropping the game to the Racers. Ole Miss beat No. 3 Western Kentucky behind Hunter Elliott and No. 2 Georgia Tech 11-9 on June 1.
