Pyxis Advisory Group, a Houston-based advisory firm serving industrial sector clients, has acquired Catule Consulting, a management and technology consultancy serving the energy and industrial sector.
Founded in 2010, Catule provides management consulting, systems integration, and data services to clients primarily in the oil and gas industry. The boutique firm has a team of four people, according to its website.
As part of the transaction, Catule co-founders Josh Grahmann and Silas Aday will join Pyxis’s Houston office as managing directors and leaders of the upstream and oil services verticals.
Before founding Catule, Grahmann and Aday were colleagues at Accenture, where they worked on ERP integration engagements.
Grahmann has over 27 years of consulting experience providing business integration, business transformation, systems/technology implementation, and business process improvement services to large firms in the oil and gas industry.
Aday has nearly 25 years of consulting experience in the upstream and oilfield services, with expertise in systems implementation, data management, business integration, and process improvement.
“We’ve known and worked alongside Josh and Silas for decades and have seen first-hand their ability to guide clients through complex and strategic transformations,” said Matt Flanagan, partner of Pyxis Advisory Group. “They consistently deliver high-quality service, and their expertise aligns perfectly with our mission at Pyxis.”
Pyxis Advisory Group was founded in 2022 and has 18 employees listed on LinkedIn. The firm provides M&A support, commodities trading, risk management, technology start-up support, and digital transformation services to global clients in energy, oil and gas, power, transportation, renewables, and industrial distribution.
“Having collaborated with Pyxis on numerous clients over the years, Josh and I have already seen the impact of a unified team, and we’re excited to bring that integrated strength to even more global opportunities,” Aday said.
