QuikTrip is continuing to grow in the metropolitan Houston market with three new convenience stores now open–two in Katy, Texas, that opened in September joining a store in Houston that opened its doors in late August.
QuikTrip recently opened its 300th location in the state of Texas, and the convenience-store retailer is developing 10 more Houston-area locations, scheduled to open by the end of 2026, it said.
“Houston has embraced QuikTrip as more than just a convenience store, and we’re proud to grow alongside this welcoming community,” said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson. “As we expand across the Houston metro, we continue to show how our presence brings jobs, efficient service, and reliable support to neighborhoods. We look forward to being a trusted resource in every community we serve.”
QT’s new locations feature full-service QT Kitchens, offering quick grab-and-go meals and snacks. Popular items include The Big Q fountain drink, hot dogs and a variety of hot, fresh, made-to-order food. Customers at these locations can also try QuikTrip’s new coffee system, which offers 12 different options on tap, including hot and iced lattes made with real milk and freshly ground coffee beans.
Each store will create approximately two dozen new local jobs, the company said.
Over the last 66 years, QT has expanded its footprint to more than 1,100 stores across 21 states, employing more than 31,000 people.
QuikTrip Corp. is a privately held company with headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since its founding in 1958, it has grown into an $11 billion company.
