Luxury apartment buildings are getting more elaborate, and many even offer dining options and other lifestyle amenities to residents. This is the idea behind the newly announced HQ Residences in Miami — a collaboration between sbe’s Sam Nazarian and recording artist Marc Anthony — that is currently under construction in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood.
Sam Nazarian’s Sbe Entertainment Group (which is also behind the C3 virtual restaurant network) launched HQ Hotels as a portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts with high-end dining options in 2024. HQ Residences is a spinoff of that, with luxury high-rise apartment buildings underway in Miami and Mount Prospect, Illinois.
“HQ Residences in Edgewater is the moment we, quite literally, bring the spirit of our brand home for the first time,” Nazarian said in a statement. “From day one, HQ has been centered on building places that shape how people live and connect, and Miami is a city that embodies this vision, at the intersection of design, lifestyle, and global influence.”
The 35-story building in Miami will house condominiums ranging one to three bedrooms, starting at $850,000. The building’s amenity program will span almost 16,000 square feet and will include a yoga studio, fitness center, sauna, pool deck, a shared chef’s kitchen, and library.
Nazarian is tying this new high-rise building with his culinary portfolio by also opening multiple foodservice venues: Toma Gourmet by Sofia Vergara and her son Manolo Vergara (featuring “wellness-forward Latin cuisine” that is already offered as part of C3’s lineup of virtual restaurants), and Jack’s NYC Coffee, which is making its Miami debut.
Marc Anthony’s collaboration takes centerstage as the nightlife venue for the building at Marc’s – a speakeasy with views of the skyline and regular live performances. Residents will also be able to enjoy membership in the HQ Social Club, which offers “VIP experiences” that non-residents will be unable to enjoy.
The upcoming project was developed in collaboration with real estate investment manager Black Salmon, real estate development company The Boschetti Group, and real estate investment firm Constellation Group.
