ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A shelter-in-place has been issued for the Clark Atlanta University campus, according to officials.
A large police presence could be seen late Friday night.
People are encouraged to avoid the area “in and around” Woodruff Library.
Police said reports of an active shooter are “not accurate.”
Police received a call about an “armed shooter” on the University of Georgia campus in the area of the Main Library” around the same time. The call also appeared to be a hoax, according to the school.
Both instances are under investigation.
