PHOENIX— Six new tenants, including restaurants, a nail salon and a Pilates studio, signed leases at GSQ, an 150-acre mixed-use development taking shape in Goodyear.
The growing development is situated around Goodyear Civic Square, which is near McDowell Road and Bullard Avenue.
The new additions include Paris Baguette, Handel’s Ice Cream, Berry Divine Acai Bowls, Magdalena’s and Zara Nail Bar. The sixth business, Reformed Pilates studio, is also expanding to Old Town Scottsdale and Surprise, in addition to the GSQ location.
Paris Baguette and Zara Nail Bar are expected to open by the end of the year, each occupying around 3,000 square feet. Berry Divine Acai Bowls plans to open at GSQ , which will be it’s 11th location, in the fall. Meanwhile, Handel’s Ice Cream is targeting an opening in early 2027.
Magdalena’s, which is described as a chef-driven Latin restaurant, and Reformed Pilates have not announced opening dates.
“GSQ is evolving into a true town center for Goodyear and the surrounding West Valley,” RED Development partner Mike Ebert said in a press release. “Each addition contributes to how people use the property throughout the day, from morning routines to evenings out.”
The six newly announced tenants grow a long list of chains who have recently open at the development or are coming soon.
Trader Joe’s, First Watch and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar opened in the last year. Additional tenants expected to open this year include Fogo de Chão, California Fish Grill, CAVA and a Veterinary Emergency Group hospital.
A Nordstrom Rack is planned for spring 2027.
GSQ is a joint venture between RED Development and Globe Corporation.
