Sogno Toscano, a nationally recognized distributor of Italian culinary products, is expanding its presence in Arizona with the opening of its first full-service restaurant and lifestyle market in Phoenix this month. Located in the Arcadia neighborhood, the new concept brings together a café, wine bar, and curated market designed to showcase Tuscan food, wine, and culture. While Sogno Toscano has long supplied chefs and restaurants across the country with premium Italian ingredients, the Arizona location represents the brand’s first opportunity in the state to present its offerings directly to guests in a dining and retail setting.
Founded in 2008 by lifelong friends Pietro Brembilla and Brian Persico, Sogno Toscano began as a wholesale operation focused on delivering high-quality Italian products throughout the United States. Over the years, the company has grown into a national network with multiple distribution centers supplying olive oils, cheeses, cured meats, pastas, and other artisanal goods to professional kitchens and households. Following the success of Sogno Toscano cafés and showrooms in New York and California, the brand’s expansion to Phoenix reflects both business growth and a personal connection to Arizona.
Brembilla has longstanding ties to the state, having spent summers at his family’s ranch in Scottsdale, where he developed an early appreciation for the region. Today, Sogno Toscano’s corporate headquarters are based in Tempe, making the Arcadia opening a return to the company’s Arizona roots. According to Brembilla, the Phoenix restaurant is intended to be more than a dining destination, serving as a place where guests can experience Italian hospitality alongside food and wine traditions.

“We’re overjoyed to bring a full Tuscan dining and lifestyle market experience to Phoenix,” says Brembilla, in a press release. “This restaurant is more than a place to eat. It is a happy and welcoming space where friends and families can gather, enjoy the authentic flavors of Italy, explore our food and goods market, and create memories together. We hope every guest feels the care, passion and tradition we pour into the Sogno Toscano market and restaurant and leave inspired by the richness of Italian culture.”
The Arcadia location features a spacious patio, a full espresso and coffee bar, and all-day service with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The menu highlights ingredients sourced through Sogno Toscano’s established Italian supply chain, including fresh pasta flown in from Italy. Guests can expect a range of offerings such as Tuscan-style schiacciate sandwiches, omelets, pastries, the signature schiacciata panettone, beef- and pork-stuffed tortellini, focaccia pizzas, and composed charcuterie and cheese boards.
In addition to restaurant service, Sogno Toscano operates as a daytime lifestyle market where guests can shop for specialty goods. The retail selection includes Tuscan wines and imported Italian products such as burrata, prosciutto, olive oils, and pantry staples. The market component allows visitors to take home the same ingredients used in the kitchen, reinforcing the brand’s connection between dining and at-home cooking.
The restaurant and market will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with live music scheduled every weekend to create an active and welcoming atmosphere. Programming is designed to encourage guests to linger, whether stopping in for morning espresso, a midday meal, or an evening gathering centered on food and wine.
