Thirty seasons ago, New York Giants quarterback, Phil Simms led the team to their first-ever Super Bowl titles. In the decades since he retired, Simms has been working in broadcast media and for many years was part of CBS’ No. 1 broadcast team alongside the legendary Jim Nantz.
But Simms’ contract at CBS expired after the 2023 season and last year he was working outside of the national sports spotlight. However, for the 2025 season he’ll have a brand new job covering the sport he loves.
Simms has both history and connections with NBC Sports. He previously worked for the network in the mid-1990s before embarking on his multi-decade run at CBS.
