North Little Rock will be getting a dedicated Tesla Service Center, according to a post made by Joel Spencer, president of the Tesla Owners Club of Arkansas Inc. and host of “The EV Geek” podcast. He said in the post, made in the Tesla Owners Club of Arkansas Facebook group, that he has been able to confirm from “multiple Tesla sources” that the service center is planned for 5045 Warden Road in North Little Rock, the old Reuber Automotive building.
The post claims the building has been leased, but no physical work or construction has started on the 3-acre lot.
The space was sold to 5045 Warden Rd. LLC by WRAMR Properties LLC, which is led by Alan Reuber, May 5 for $5.1 million.
Currently, Tesla owners have to travel to Memphis for service at a dedicated Tesla center. All Tesla sales will still have to be done online or out of state due to an Arkansas law that prohibits auto manufacturers from operating dealerships. Tesla operates all of its own dealerships and service centers.
