The NFL offseason is coming to a close.
With players on the move, new coaches in place and young stars drafted, there’s not much left to do before preseason games get underway later this summer.
One thing still left on the to-do list? Uniform reveals. Unlike last year, when four teams completely overhauled their looks, no teams have rebranded in 2025. But there are a number of throwbacks and alternates that will debut this fall, with nearly half of the league impacted.
Here’s a roundup of all the new NFL uniforms for the upcoming season:
Washington Commanders
The Commanders are bringing back a familiar look, with a twist. The “Super Bowl Era” uniform and helmets will resemble the traditional set that the team wore under its previous name, notably while winning titles in 1982, 1987 and 1991. The uniforms include a white jersey, burgundy pants and a “W” on the burgundy helmet.
These threads will be worn at home on Sunday Night Football against the Seahawks (Week 9) and Broncos (Week 13), and again on Christmas Day (Week 17) against the Cowboys.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints added a new alternate white helmet to be worn with their white color rush uniform. This will replace the black alternate helmet used from 2022-24.
No dates have been announced for when New Orleans will wear the new lids.
July 15: Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers teased an alternate uniform set to be revealed on July 15.
July 15: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers teased a potential throwback uniform set to be released on July 15.
July 16: Cleveland Browns
According to Andrew Lind of SportsLogos.net, the Browns will be revealing a new alternate hemet on July 16.
July 21: Pittsburgh Steelers
Lind reported that the Steelers will unveil new yellow throwback helmets and new matching uniforms on July 21.
July 23: Green Bay Packers
Lind reported that the Packers will have new throwback helmets and uniforms on July 23.
Late July: Seahawks Seahawks
Lind reported that the Seahawks will add the white road version of their 1990s-era throwbacks, with the exact date of when they will be worn still to be determined.
TBD reveal date: NFL ‘Rivalries’ designs for 8 teams
New for 2025, the NFL and Nike announced the “Rivalries” program. The designs will see division rivalries get spiced up with fresh uniform designs. The jerseys will be worn only by the home team in a divisional game, and can be worn against any of its three division rivals.
The first wave in 2025 will see the eight teams in the AFC East and NFC West get a new jersey. Two new divisions will be added every year.
Not much more information has been revealed about the program, including potential reveal dates. But we do know for sure that those eight teams will be included — the Bills, Patriots, Jets, Dolphins, 49ers, Seahawks, Cardinals and Rams.
