United Airlines plans to launch nonstop flights between Bradley International Airport and Houston, Texas, airport officials announced.
The once-daily service will operate year-round, beginning in May.
“We are thrilled that United is expanding its footprint at Bradley International Airport and offering our passengers another nonstop destination,” said Michael W. Shea, executive director and CEO of the Connecticut Airport Authority.
United also flies from Bradley to its hubs in Chicago, Denver and Washington, D.C.
JetBlue recently said it will be offering nonstop service from Bradley to Los Angeles June through September.
Last year, the airport saw three carriers end service, including Spirit Airlines.
