Firefighters worked to control a fire at a commercial building in Phoenix early Wednesday morning. Crews were called to the reported fire around 12:45 a.m. near Interstate 17 and Van Buren Street. Smoke was rising from the roof of the building as firefighters got to the scene.
Firefighters used hoses to begin to extinguish the fire. Due to the size of the blaze, additional fire units were called to the scene. Hazmat teams responded to the call due to the business containing chemicals. Fire department investigators are still working to find what caused this fire. No one was reported to be injured due to this fire.
