Nebraska was among the NCAA Committee’s Top 16 seeds released on Saturday, with the Huskers checking in at No. 11.
Nebraska was one of five Big Ten teams included in the initial release of the Top 16 teams on Saturday. Those also included Michigan (1), Illinois (7), Purdue (8) and Michigan State (14). Nebraska owns wins over Illinois and Michigan State, and three of the Huskers’ four losses came to teams included in the initial release on Saturday.
Nebraska waxed Penn State at home on Saturday to improve to 23-4 overall and 12-4 in Big Ten Conference play.
