RIVERDALE, NY – Manhattan University Women’s Basketball has earned a spot on the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25. The Jaspers posted a team GPA of 3.667, tied for 20th in the NCAA with UW-Milwaukee.
Head Coach Heather Vulin has led her Jaspers to appear on the WBCA Academic Top 25 three times in the last four years.
2021-22 – Team GPA: 3.46
2022-23 – Team GPA: 3.576
2024-25 – Team GPA: 3.667
Saint Peter’s and Head Coach Jen Leedham was the other MAAC institution to be recognized in the Top 25. Quinnipiac, Marist, Merrimack, and Fairfield, received Special Mention by the WBCA.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women’s basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
