Bernadette Pickett was named this year’s winner of the Women’s Business Alliance’s annual Athena Award.
Pickett serves as an assistant district attorney for the Terrebonne Parish District Attorney’s Office, as well as the executive director for the Children’s Advocacy Center. She launched Louisiana’s first DWI Court and created intervention programs for at-risk youth. She was presented the award at an evening reception June 26 at the Ellendale Country Club.
“I’m honored to be included among the great women who won before me,” Pickett said. “I pray I’m able to continue working and helping the great people of Terrebonne Parish.”
