LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting in a busy section of east Las Vegas on Tuesday, according to police.
The shooting was reported in the area of Flamingo Road and Boulder Highway, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said in an email.
A person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers have shut down Flamingo Road west of Boulder for the investigation.
LVMPD’s homicide section is expected to provide an update with more information later Tuesday.
