ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was shot in the head at a southwest Atlanta apartment building on Tuesday evening, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened at 875 Hank Aaron Drive SW, which is the listed address for The Square at Peoplestown.
Officers responded to a person shot at the building shortly after 6:30 p.m. and reportedly found the boy with a gunshot wound to his head. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting or identified suspects.
