Two Boston police officers were injured while taking a person into custody Sunday night, the department said.
The officers, from the department’s South End district, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
They were hurt while taking into custody a subject recognized from larceny incidents earlier Sunday, according to police. The stop took place about 7:31 p.m.
It wasn’t immediately clear how or how badly the officers were injured. Police haven’t shared more about the other person involved, including if they were in custody.
