2026 New York Yankees Summer Internship Program

The New York Yankees are looking for bright and motivated individuals to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program!  The Program is designed to give current college students and 2026 college graduates interested in a career in sports the opportunity to gain invaluable experience working for one of the most iconic teams in the world.  This 8-week program will provide participants with practical, hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of a professional sports franchise, as well as networking and mentorship opportunities which will help build a solid foundation for future career success.

*Potential Departments For Placement: Baseball Operations, Business Strategy, Community Relations, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Media Relations, Partnership Activation and Sales, Publications, Social Media, Stadium Operations, Ticket Sales and Services, Ticket Operations, Tours and Yankee Stadium Events.

*Departments subject to change.

Interested candidates MUST submit their resume and cover letter. In the cover letter, please address the following:

  • Why you would be an ideal candidate for this program.
  • What you are looking to get from this experience.
  • Whether you can commit to the full 8-week program (expected to run from June 1st, 2026 through July 24th, 2026).
  • Rate your top 3-4 departments of interest.  (Department placement will be based on a combination of organizational needs and the candidate’s expressed interest and relevant qualifications, but the ultimate placement decisions are in the Yankees’ sole discretion.)

This is a paid program at $17.50/hour and school credit is not available.  Housing is not provided so applicants should take this into account.  We look forward to welcoming our new team of interns to the Yankees next summer!
