The City’s 2026 Pavement Marking Maintenance Program is now underway. Precision Pavement Markings, Inc. is completing the project. The work refreshes and replaces lane lines, crosswalks, and stop bars on streets throughout West Chicago to improve visibility and safety for all roadway users. Work will take place in the areas shown on the project map.
Construction takes place daily beginning at 7:00 a.m. Temporary lane restrictions may occur while crews apply new pavement markings, but all streets will remain open and accessible. Traffic will be directed as needed, and newly applied markings may take time to fully cure. Please use caution when driving through work areas.
Work is expected to be completed by July 31, 2026, weather permitting. Thank you for driving carefully around work crews and helping keep West Chicago’s streets safe and easy to navigate.
