The UFC’s 2026 White House event is officially ready to go.
UFC CEO Dana White confirmed on a recent Instagram Live that he talked to American president Donald Trump and government officials at the White House to iron out the details of the card, which will coincide with the celebrations of the 250th birthday of the United States.
“Got it done today,” White said. “We had the meeting at the White House. It could have not gone better. The White House fight is on. The White House fight is on. I will have more details on that in the next couple of weeks.”
Now the question becomes: Which fighters will make the card?
White previously estimated the chances of formerly retired light heavyweight and undisputed heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who is making a return, at “a billion-to-one.” He was also cautious about commenting on a possible return by Irish superstar Connor McGregor.
There is speculation online that current undisputed heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall will appear. He is currently scheduled to defend the title in October at UFC 321 against former interim champion Ciryl Gane.
The White House event card lineup is expected to be announced closer to the TBD 2026 date.
