Billings, MT- The second cannabis show in Montana kicked off bigger and better than the inaugural year.
120 vendors took over Metras Expo Center and offered an opportunity for cannabis consumers and local industry leaders to network.
According to the event’s main organizer and event director, Dakota Wyatt, this networking opportunity is especially great for new businesses.
Wyatt says that “this show really is about bringing everybody together. These guys and girls that are in this business they have everything going against them. They are set up to fail left and right. They have to face so many hurdles when it comes to laws or zoning or different things like that.”
He continues “they are all very hard-working people; they just want to succeed, they just want to be successful with their business, they just want to grow. They are all small, local business owners just like everybody else here. And I think having a show like this and giving them a platform to be able to succeed and to come together and collaborate is the most important thing and ultimately, that’s our goal. “
The expo also featured food, art, clothing, glass blowing and even had on site tattooing.
Wyatt estimates that over the two-day show, around five thousand people attended.
Wyatt also added that there was no actual cannabis on the premises for the Montana Cannabis Show.
