A number of business owners have recently opened their doors to the Tomball and Magnolia communities. Here are five business updates you may have missed.
Ace Elite Cheer and Tumbling relocates
Ace Elite Cheer & Tumbling officials confirmed the gym’s relocation to a new facility in Magnolia to provide more space for its various classes. The classes and private lessons the gym offers specialize in developing skills for tumblers and cheerleaders.
Roberto Martinez, who owns and operates the franchise location, said his reason for opening BarkSuds was the lack of groomers in the area. Even though the salon recently opened, Martinez said there’s been such local demand that it has seen multiple fully booked days.
Flour House Bakers now open in Tomball
After 10 years in business at the Tomball Farmers Market, Flour House Bakers opened its brick-and-mortar storefront this September. As previously reported, owners Matt and Sarah Cross have been preparing Flour House Bakers for its official opening during the summer. The couple recently announced on social media that they are now open.
Reppond Barber relocated from the city of Silsbee to Tomball this past month, owner Fred Reppond confirmed. Reppond had been in the hair care industry for 6 years at his previous location in Silsbee. He relocated to Tomball after recently getting married.

Arms manufacturer Watchtower Defense opens facility in Tomball
Watchtower Defense is a local manufacturing company that specializes in firearms and related products. Watchtower Defense CEO Jordan Davis said that its products serve a wide range of markets, including consumer, law enforcement and military sectors.
