Jaguars keeping coordinators key for Liam Coen, 2026 season
At least Jaguars coach Liam Coen won’t have to spend the next few weeks searching for a new offensive coordinator or defensive coordinator.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced they re-signed two players on Monday, Feb. 16.
Running back Deejay Dallas and defensive lineman Matt Dickerson were both retained by the club.
Dallas appeared in three games last season after signing as a depth player and kick returner because of an injury to Bhayshul Tuten. He had six returns for 180 yards and had two carries for 21 yards.
Originally drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 draft, Dallas will likely resume his return duties for the club and slot in as a depth running back for the Jaguars.
Dickerson played in each of the last eight games in the 2025 season, emerging as a key piece along the defensive line. He initially was a member of the practice squad before working his way into the rotation.
Dickerson finished with 10 total tackles, two quarterback hits, one pass defended and one tackle for a loss. He helps fill a need along the defensive line as the Jaguars look to duplicate their league-leading run defense.

If the original team does not tender an offer, the player becomes a UFA.
