Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder took down the Steph Curry-less Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.
SGA put up 27 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists in the 104-97 victory.
OKC faced a challenge from Golden State throughout the second half.
The Warriors outscored the Thunder by 10 points in the third, but they couldn’t find the finishing touch in the fourth to take the game from OKC.
Gui Santos was Golden State’s standout player with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
OKC’s win moved its lead over the San Antonio Spurs to 2.5 games for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. OKC faces three challenging games next week to hold on to that spot. The Thunder play Denver, Boston and Minnesota in the next seven days.
