The adult-beverage theme even extends to the spa, where the signature treatment, the Southern Scrub & Sip, concludes with a glass of Bayou & Bottle’s private-cask Garrison Brothers bourbon. Next to the spa is a very well-equipped fitness center with Peloton and Technogym equipment.
But while spirits lovers and cocktail fans will appreciate the hotel’s offerings, these are part of a bigger picture, a high-energy, immersive experience that includes frequent “activations,” especially around seasonal happenings.
These bring in a lot of local regulars, as do the food and beverage outlets, giving the hotel more of a neighborhood than convention ambiance. The 2022 redesign also added a signature restaurant, Toro Toro next to Bandista, both on the third floor, connected to the lobby by a grand staircase with an open atrium feel.
