On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers played the Minnesota Timberwolves (at home).

The Lakers won by a score of 120-106.

Bronny James played two minutes, finishing with one assist.

Before the Lakers host the Chicago Bulls (on Thursday), they announced that they had made a roster move.

Ryan Ward of Lakers OnSI wrote: “The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned guards Bronny James Jr. and Dalton Knecht along with forward Adou Thiero to the South Bay Lakers.”

Bronny James This Season

Bronny is in his second season as a pro (all with the Lakers).

The former USC guard is averaging 2.1 points and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 39.7% from the field and 41.4% from three-point range in 32 games.

Adou Thiero This Season

Thiero is in the middle of his rookie season after playing college basketball at Kentucky and Arkansas.

He is averaging 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 47.6% from the field in 19 games.

Michael Scotto of HoopsHype wrote (on July 6): “The Los Angeles Lakers signed No. 36 pick Adou Thiero to a 3-year, $5.95 million deal, which includes two fully guaranteed years and a third-year team option, sources told @hoopshype. He averaged 15.1 points on 54.5% shooting, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.6 steals for Arkansas as a junior”

Dalton Knecht This Season

Knecht is in the middle of his second NBA season (all with the Lakers).

He is averaging 4.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest while shooting 44.8% from the field and 30.7% from three-point range in 48 games.

The Lakers are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 40-25 record in 65 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have won six out of ten).

After the Bulls, the Lakers will remain at home to host the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.

The Bulls are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 27-38 record in 65 games.

They have won three out of their last ten.
