DUI Checkpoints and DUI Saturation Patrols

Tuesday, March 17 “Saint Patrick’s Day”
DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Roscoe Boulevard
DUI Saturation from 3 PM to 11 PM in Hollywood Division
DUI Saturation from 3 PM to 11 PM in Pacific Division

Wednesday, March 18
DUI Saturation from 4 pm to Midnight in Newton Division

Thursday, March 19
DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Olympic Boulevard and Orme Avenue
DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Westwood Boulevard and Rochester Avenue

Friday, March 20
DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Hyperion Avenue and Valley Brink Road
DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at La Brea Avenue and Oakwood Avenue
DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Imperial Highway and Compton Avenue

Saturday, March 21
DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Ventura Boulevard and Columbus Avenue

Sunday, March 22
DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Florence Boulevard and Central Avenue
DUI Saturation from 12 PM to 8 PM in Foothill Division

Note: Locations of the checkpoints are subject to change or cancelation.

The DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on data showing incidents of impaired driving-related crashes and arrests. The primary purpose of DUI checkpoints is to promote public safety by educating drivers on the perils of DUI and by taking suspected impaired drivers off the road.
