Two Rivers Running, located at 1265 N. Academy Ave., Ste. 1101, is celebrating its 5-year anniversary on March 27. The store is owned by local Michelle Blomstedt, who said the local New Braunfels community is the reason her business is still thriving.
“That’s how we’re able to turn around and support the running community and the youth running community,” she said.

Two Rivers Running opened in 2021 at 564 Comal Ave. before relocating to Academy Ave. in 2023, as previously reported by Community Impact.
The business sells running shoes from an array of brands such as Hoka and Altra. Employees at the shop can help customers choose the best fitted shoe by using 3D foot scanners, sizing equipment and more. Two Rivers Running also hosts weekly group runs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Blomstedt said.
