After splitting OT wins in Tampa, the scene shifts for Game 3 as the Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Montreal Canadiens on Friday
The Tampa Bay Lightning and Montreal Canadiens head north of the border on Friday night for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The teams split overtime victories in the first two games of the series, with Tampa Bay snapping a four-game home-ice losing streak in the playoffs with its OT win on Tuesday night. The series playing out so evenly matched thus far hardly comes as a surprise. The Canadiens and Lightning finished with identical totals of 106 points, with Tampa Bay grabbing the second spot in the Atlantic Division on a tiebreaker, and the teams split four meetings during the regular season.
